About the event
After successfully bringing back my “just because” ladies’ dinner series, I can’t stop now. It was as magical and as fun as the first time. So I’m putting together the next one in October but this time come dressed in your traditional wear.
Get that beautiful baju kurung, kebaya, sari, cheongsam, kurta, batik or whatever traditional piece you’ve been saving for a “special occasion” out of the dusty corner of your closet and don it.
There is no wedding to attend, no festival to celebrate, no particular reason whatsoever. And that is precisely the point, ladies!
I want to see colour, glitter, embroidery, sequins, drama, big sleeves, beautiful fabrics and outfits that make you feel a little extra. Come as traditional, as glamorous, as maximalist as you please.
I am making us the occasion. Looking forward to see what everyone dresses in!
